Ribbon Poinsettia
Materials Needed:
- 3 inch wide ribbon (#40) velvet or satin
- 3 18-inch fine wires
- 8 gold beads 6mm to 8mm
- floral tape
Instructions:
- Cut 6 strips of ribbon 8 inches long.
- Cut each end into a point.

- Squeeze together a piece of ribbon in center, keeping as even
as possible, add two more ribbons, holding as you go, using one piece
of wire, tie the 3 ribbons as tightly as possible around the middle
of all ribbons. Straighten ribbons after tying.
- Repeat above with last 3 strips of ribbon.
- Overlap the two sections, placing the one on top covering the
opening of he bottom section. Wire together.
- Using last wire, thread the 8 beads on it. Slide beads into
center of the wire, and leaving some space on either side, twist
wire together. Will look like a small necklace.
- Holding wired beads, scrunch together to look like the center
of a poinsettia.
- Slide wires between petals, center beads in middle of flower and
tighten.
- Cut off excess wire and wrap with floral tape if desired.
- Congratulations your finished, now why not make a bouquet?
Note: You may make the flowers any size you wish, larger or smaller, just
adjust bead size if necessary.
