The next meeting of the Sherwood Forest Garden Club will be Friday, April 22, 2005, 10:30 AM at Rhodes Hall. If you have not seen the interior of this fascinating building, you are in for a real treat. Rhodes Hall was built in 1904 as the home of Rhodes furniture founder, Amos Rhodes. Now it is the headquarters of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation as well as a meeting facility. Join us to learn about the history of Rhodes Hall and to take a tour of the building and grounds. |

The Sherwood Forest Garden Club was organized in March, 1952 for the purpose of:
- Furthering the knowledge of its members in the field of gardening, horticulture, flower arranging and the activities of related Garden Clubs (e.g., Garden Club of Georgia);
- Maintaining the beauty of our home ground and fostering friendship among the residents.

Membership is open to any resident of Sherwood Forest. In order to become a member, the annual dues are $20.00 per year payable before May.
2005-2006 Meeting Schedule [Back to Top]
Regular monthly meetings are held each month except June, July, August and December. The meeting date is typically the fourth Friday of the month unless this date falls in close proximity to a holiday weekend. Meetings normally occur over lunch from 10:30 to 1:00 PM.
